Ethan Viera, born and raised in New York City, has over 5 years of experience working with youth in various capacities from athletic coaching to mental health counseling and social emotional learning educator for students on the spectrum. While pursuing a degree in Psychology with a focus on counseling, Ethan supports the Heartworkers Union team with content creation and community outreach. His passion for cultivating wholesome relationships and creating positive impact through community and creative writing as a form of self expression derives from his personal experiences with a challenging childhood and generational trauma. Through poetry and art, Ethan is able to share his story and experiences.
