AYESA MUNGUIA

Ayesa Munguia, has over 15 years of experience in education, focusing on students with behavior challenges and special needs. Currently, she offers mentorship, behavior managment and teaches art in San Jose, California.

Ayesa is versatile in her skills, completing an A.S in Early Childhood Development, a B.F.A in Fine art, and Master’s level courses in Applied Behavior Analysis. Creative art, and her spirituality have played a significant role in her life and in her contributions to community, including over a decade of experience in the alternative medicine.Through these practices, she has been able to understand the importance of art as a form of healing and offer that in her work with youth.

 As Co-Founder of the Heartworkers Union, Ayesa plays a crucial role in supporting the team, while also contributing as an artist and visionary through graphic design and media. Her commitment to helping children and families stems from her personal experiences as a troubled youth overcoming trauma and addiction. Through mentorship, creative outlets, and resources, she aims to help young people build resilient and healthy lives, and as a heartworker, she looks forward to uniting with others who share the same collective vision for change.
