An original founding member of the Heartworkers Union, Alex Estrada, in the last 8 years has worked a variety of different educational roles ranging from Preschool to Adult Alternative Education.  His developmental philosophy is rooted in Mindfulness, Nature Immersion, Artistic Expression, and Athletic Competition.  He has been a pillar in the San Jose creative community as a Performing Artist and Master of Ceremony for over a decade.  

Alex’s love for his community and collaborating to solve problems and be resourceful, were the catalysts for creating the Heartworkers Union with fellow artists and youth advocates who share his passion.  Currently working as a Behavioral Support Specialist, at a public elementary school, his goal is to support multiple communities and provide customized curriculum for Holistic Child Development and wraparound family support.
